Show Me the Money
Greg Pabich – Business Development Manager
Northland Capital started the month of May off with the WasteExpo in Las Vegas. The WasteExpo represented waste and recycling equipment, something that is constantly growing with time. The crowd attendance was busy this year and the attitude of people and vendors was upbeat—perhaps the sunny weather was partly due to the hearty mood. The impressions from the show floor were great.
Over the last 50 years, WasteExpo has been the premier event in North America offering up insights, issues and trends critical to the solid waste, recycling, organics and sustainable communities. Waste360 plays a tactical role in connecting industry professional’s worldwide, giving business owners and vendors alike a unique experience. WasteExpo connects its followers and keeps them informed, and we, as a financial service, want to see our business owners save money.
I was able to talk with a variety of vendors and speak as a shared presenter for the Show Me the Money session. Focusing on financing options based on customer’s needs—really focusing on options for those customers that don’t have the most perfect credit, and cash vs. monthly payment. Shared tips and tricks into how you, as business owners, can save money across the board, from financing a piece of equipment to avoiding costly mistakes.
Most discussions on the floor revolved around progress and lower operating costs. Bottom line, the industry is taking strides in the strength of overcoming recycling headwinds. Northland Capital is a valuable resource in understanding how essential cash is to your business and not tied up into fixed assets.View All News & Views
