Laying the Foundation at World of Concrete

What else is there to do in subzero Midwestern weather than head out to attend the World of Concrete. With the temperature in Las Vegas being in the mid 50s, it was a definite plus. The World of Concrete annual trade show went over quite well with crowds buzzing around the vendors and the sun warming the outdoor space.
The World of Concrete specializes in equipment, tools, and a handful of products such as: sealers, additives, coloring etc. They laid the foundation for another strong event this year. For anything construction, World of Concrete is the place to be with more than 55,000 industry professionals and 1,500 exhibitors. They didn’t stop at concrete and construction, but include masonry professionals too, even going so far as to hold the Super Bowl of Masonry—or a brick laying championship.
Day one was perfect for some meet and greet with several high-quality vendor and manufacturer opportunities. Day two under the Vegas sunshine highlighted an ambitious crowd which appeared to have a jump in attendance over previous years. Though at times it was difficult to talk with the vendors directly, it was good to be within the hustle and bustle on the show floor and relate with the crowd on an industry that is laying the foundation for modest growth at a brisk pace for 2019.
