Introducing Our Director of Portfolio Risk

We’re excited to welcome Tony Champion to the Northland Capital team. In his role, Tony oversees portfolio risk management, including collections and asset management. He brings almost 20 years of experience and a diverse and well-rounded background to the team, with experience practicing law and leading credit departments at both the management and director level. Tony was drawn to the role because it aligned with his career experience and offered the opportunity to bring innovative, practical solutions to a growing organization.

Beyond his impressive professional background, Tony truly embodies what Northland Capital stands for. He has already made meaningful improvements that are helping streamline processes and improving efficiency across teams. Tony appreciates the energy Northland brings to financing and believes that having fun at work matters—a value that fits right in with our culture. Tony stays busy coaching baseball and softball and cheering on his kids at their sports and activities. Fun fact: Tony has 76 first cousins!
