Schaefer Joins as HR Business Partner

Northland Capital welcomes Kari Schaefer as the new HR Business Partner. In this key role, Kari will spearhead initiatives designed to foster a positive, growth-oriented workplace culture while enhancing talent development, learning, and employee engagement across the company.

A natural problem solver who embraces innovation and input, Kari returns to Northland Capital with a wealth of experience spanning sales, marketing, training, and talent development. She holds certifications in leadership training, facilitation and change management in addition to being a Certified Lease and Finance Professional (CLFP).

As HR Business Partner, Kari will work closely with leadership and staff to design and implement strategies that not only drive employee engagement but also create opportunities for continuous learning and development. Her focus will be on building relationships, creating innovative processes and ensuring Northland Capital remains a place where employees are excited to contribute and thrive.

“Northland Capital has always been a place where people come together to achieve great things, and I’m thrilled to return in this role,” Schaefer said. “I’m excited to collaborate with the team to build on the company’s strong culture and create even more opportunities for our people to grow both professionally and personally. We’re going to have fun while doing it!”

When she’s not building systems and supporting employee growth, Kari enjoys spending time with her husband and sons in the great outdoors, often fishing in a boat or on ice.
