News & Views 2026 Academic Scholarship Recipients June 11, 2026 Northland Capital scholarships are awarded to graduating high school seniors pursuing a degree in higher education who attain excellence in scholastic achievement, leadership, and community involvement. Congratulations to our 2026 recipients; we look forward to seeing how they continue to grow, lead, and make an impact in their communities. Benjamin Schaefer Benjamin, the son of HR Business Partner Kari Schaefer, will attend Ridgewater College this fall to study Agri-Business. Since the age of 15, he has built valuable hands-on experience working in agriculture, a field he plans to pursue after graduation. Through his work on the farm, Benjamin has learned the value of responsibility, commitment, and taking pride in a job well done. Reflecting on what inspired his career path, he shared, “When I first started working with cattle, I realized how much I really loved working on a farm, taking care of animals and helping these animals do their best.” That passion led him to take PSEO courses focused on agriculture and continue building the knowledge and skills needed for a future in the industry. Logan Diers Whether in the classroom, on the field, or in the community, Logan has consistently challenged himself to make the most of every opportunity. The son of Phil Diers, Collections and Customer Service Associate, Logan earned Honor Roll recognition every semester while participating in football, wrestling, track, band, FFA, and community service activities. Beyond his accomplishments, he has focused on the impact he can have on those around him. He shared, “I strive to be the best person I can be every day and hope to be an example for others in all things.” He will continue that commitment at Bethel University, where he plans to study Business. Mylie Jansky Balancing academics, work, and community involvement has helped shape Mylie into a dedicated and responsible student. The daughter of Jessica Jansky, Transaction Coordinator, Mylie has gained valuable experience through volunteer opportunities and roles in childcare, hospitality, and her internship at Northland Capital, where she has worked since the fall of 2025. Outside of school and work, she enjoys riding and competing with horses, an activity that has strengthened her discipline and work ethic. Through PSEO, she challenged herself academically while developing real-world skills that will serve her well in the future. As she shared, “Proverbs 16:3, ‘Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established,’ has been a verse that reflects my hard work and dedication.” She will attend Ridgewater College this fall to pursue a career as a veterinary technician. Nathan Streit Leadership, discipline, and perseverance have been central to Nathan’s high school experience. The son of Dale Streit, Director of Business Development, Nathan excelled both academically and athletically while competing in football, basketball, and baseball. As a football team captain, he helped lead his team to its first state tournament appearance in a decade and earned numerous individual honors along the way. Through athletics, he learned the importance of hard work, accountability, and leading by example. Reflecting on the mindset that has guided him, he shared, “I know that I can do all hard things through Christ, and the better person I can be, the better student-athlete I will be.” Nathan will continue his academic and athletic career at Minnesota State University Moorhead, where he plans to study Business, Finance, and Communications. Samantha Dingmann Daughter of Account Executive Todd Dingmann, Samantha has built a high school career defined by her commitment to academics, athletics, leadership, and service. Through her involvement in school activities, community organizations, and competitive sports, she has developed resilience, leadership skills, and a strong sense of purpose. Those experiences have taught her the value of showing up fully, working hard, and supporting others along the way. Samantha shared she credits her faith as the foundation for her work ethic and commitment. “I commit to everything I am a part of because God has committed to be present in my life. James 1:17 reminds me that every good and perfect gift is from above.” This fall, she will attend the University of Nebraska–Lincoln to study Sports Media and Communications.
