This is a senior, full‑cycle individual contributor role focused on direct originations and relationship‑based business development, rather than people management or sales department leadership. You’ll be paired with an established internal team for support while owning your production and pipeline. As the market grows, there is potential for expanded responsibility and future leadership opportunities.

  • Continue building market and product expertise within the vocational vehicle space as the segment grows.
  • Attend trade shows, dealer events, and industry networking opportunities to represent Northland Capital.
  • Track pipeline activity and provide insights on market opportunities and trends.

Collaboration and Process

  • Partner with Credit, Operations, and Marketing to ensure efficient deal flow and strong customer experience.
  • Maintain accurate activity and pipeline reporting.
  • Contribute feedback to continuously improve sales and vendor processes.

  • Proven success building vendor relationships and driving revenue.
  • Experience in equipment finance is strongly preferred, with exposure to vocational vehicles, transportation, or related assets a plus.
  • Demonstrated success as an individual contributor owning a personal pipeline and production goals.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Existing vendor relationships, referral networks, or established industry connections are valued, but not required. This role focuses on building new business through professional, ethical relationship‑based selling.
  • Comfortable in a performance‑based compensation model.
  • Highly self‑motivated with the ability to manage a national territory.
