Celebrating Vince Drobniak’s Retirement

Vince Drobniak

After nearly 15 years with Northland Capital and a distinguished career in the leasing and finance industry, we are proud to celebrate the retirement of Vince Drobniak.

Since joining Northland Capital in 2011, Vince has been a steady and trusted leader, overseeing credit, collections, customer service, and asset management. He served as a valued advisor whose deep industry expertise—shaped by prior roles at Citibank, De Lage Landen, Marlin Business Bank, and CoActiv Capital Partners—helped guide Northland Capital through years of growth and transformation.

As CEO Willis Kleinjan noted, “Vince has been a cornerstone of our organization—someone whose judgment, integrity, and steady leadership have shaped Northland Capital in profound ways. His ability to bring clarity to complex situations and his commitment to doing what’s right have made him not only a trusted colleague, but a friend. We are grateful for the legacy he leaves behind and wish him nothing but fulfillment and joy in this next chapter.”

But Vince is far more than his professional accomplishments. He is a devoted family man, a talented handyman, a passionate pickleball player, and an athlete at heart. He is also a person of service, serving his country as a Marine and generously giving his time to causes that matter to him, including Habitat for Humanity and the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association. His dedication earned him induction into the Habitat for Humanity Volunteer Hall of Fame—a testament to the meaningful impact he has made well beyond the workplace.

Brian Eschmann, President, shared that, “Vince had a rare way of making hard work feel lighter and a lot more fun.” We have been incredibly fortunate to have Vince as part of the Northland Capital family. While we will miss his presence, leadership, and friendship, we are excited to cheer him on as he begins this well‑deserved next chapter.

Congratulations, Vince—and thank you for everything.
