To celebrate our culture, both team members and leadership nominated peers who embody Northland Capital’s core values each day. Here’s a look at what their colleagues had to say about their impact.

Relationships – Amy Mueller
Amy brings joy, energy, and warmth to Northland Capital. She’s known for making everyone feel welcome—especially new team members—and for lifting spirits with her humor and positivity. Amy truly embodies the heart of strong relationships. As one teammate shared, “She just makes my heart happy.”

Excellence – Jeff Wehe
Jeff consistently strives for excellence, not only in his own work but in helping others grow. From leading a CLFP study group to mentoring colleagues, his dedication to learning and development inspires the entire team. A peer commented, “More recently, in addition to his own daily role responsibilities, he has gone above and beyond to help those around him grow.” Jeff’s leadership encourages everyone to keep striving for more.

Commitment – Mary Mumm
For nearly three decades, Mary has demonstrated unwavering commitment to Northland Capital. Her dedication is evident in the consistency, reliability, and loyalty she brings to her role every single day. As one colleague noted, “Nothing says commitment like seeing Mary in the chair she claimed for herself 29 years ago.”

Teamwork – Credit Team (Brian Anderson, Tracy Lewellyn, Joe Tuholsky, Tina Balagot)
The Credit Team exemplifies teamwork through their constant support for one another and their collective focus on success. Their collaboration and cohesiveness ensure Northland Capital continues to deliver on its promises with strength and reliability. As one nomination put it, “The Credit Team has exhibited cohesiveness, always taking time to truly support one another.”

Integrity – Lloyd Lyon
Lloyd has a gift for lifting others up, even during stressful times. His humor and positivity not only bring light to tough days but also strengthen morale and camaraderie across the company. As a teammate shared, “His fun-loving doesn’t just entertain, it strengthens morale, builds camaraderie, and reminds us all to enjoy the journey.” Lloyd’s integrity shines through in the way he builds trust and respect with everyone around him.

Fun – Erin Wieber
Behind the scenes, Erin makes sure our company events run smoothly—from planning and organizing food, to clean-up, and more. Her efforts bring everyone together and keep fun at the heart of our culture. As one colleague said, “She is the master of fun around here and does so much behind-the-scenes work to make sure all our events go on without a hitch.”
